Why are “recipient addresses” entered during the ordering process NOT directly saved in the account under delivery addresses?

Delivery addresses that are used frequently should be stored once in the customer account’s address book so that they are always available. Otherwise, many rarely used addresses accumulate, which quickly makes the system unclear.
